The Bagni Nuovi di Bormio is a thermal spa complex, founded in 1836 after 4 years of construction work and modernised in 2003. The thermal spa is divided into 4 parts with hot water at a temperature of between 38 and 42°C and a number of different thermal treatments.

There are outdoor thermal pools, where you can experience the combination of the crisp mountain air and the warm thermal waters while enjoying the Alpine scenery. There are also a number of indoor pools.

Thermal treatments at the Bagni Nuovi

• Giardini di Venere: a reinvigorating series of outdoor pools; including a mud bath, a chromotherapy pool and a music therapy pool, a jacuzzi pool with mini waterfalls and also a sauna and sun terrace.
• Bagni di Giove: a revitalizing series of indoor pools with jacuzzi, saunas (including one scented with spices) and steam rooms.
• Grotta di Nettuno: a detoxifying series of indoor thermal showers, chromotherapy pool, sauna, exhilerating 'Scottish' shower, ice shower and wall mounted hydrojets.
• Bagni di Ercole: a relaxing series of indoor treatment rooms including a sauna, steam room and brazier room.
