Bormio Terme is the 'youngest' of the 3 thermal spas in the town, even if it dates back to 1927.  Its water, between 37° and 40°C, comes from the Cinglaccia spring near the Adda river.

Denominated  alkaline earth sulphate mineral water, it has therapeutic properties which are beneficial for the respiratory tract and rheumatic problems.

The thermal complex has undergone many changes through the years, the last in 2002, when Bormio Terme became a fully-fledged thermal spa centre with areas dedicated to sport as well as wellness.
